APPLICATION PROCESS FOR PROSPECTIVE TENANTS
- Step 1 - VIEWING
Once you have been online and found a property you are interested in, please call us on 02890 840888 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to arrange a suitable viewing time. We are available Monday - Friday or a Saturday morning. You may want to view several properties before making a decision, making sure you find the right property for you.
- Step 2 - APPLYING
Once you have viewed a suitable property you will need to fill in an application form. You can pick one up at the viewing, call to our office, download from this website, or fill it out online. An application fee of £30 is required with your application fee, please note this is refundable if your application is unsuccessful and we have not carried out a credit check. This is the only fee you will pay to Mitchell Property Management. We require a homeowner guarantor with every application.

- Step 3 - DEPOSIT
If your application is successful you must pay a deposit to secure the property (usually equivalent to first month's rent) please note viewings will continue until deposit has been paid. The deposit is then either held in the tenant's deposit custodial scheme or the landlord will hold it under the insurance scheme. Click below for more information on tenants deposits.
- Step 4 - MOVING IN
Once the deposit has been paid, you can arrange a day / time to move into the property. We can meet you at the property, show you how everything works, run through the tenancy agreement and help with any queries you may have. Please note keys will not be exchanged without guarantor signature.

- The Client Money Protection (CMP) Scheme is a compensation scheme run by the National Federation of Property Professionals (NFoPP) which provides compensation to landlords, tenants and other clients should an agent misappropriate their rent, deposit or other client funds.
